We are pleased to inform you that this summer, assistance will once again be provided during the summer holidays within Dr. Schär, in collaboration with Ki.Ba. Project. In order to address the challenge of balancing family and work within the company, especially during the summer, we will offer a support service during certain summer weeks again this year.

Ki.Ba. Project has been operating in the extracurricular childcare sector for 20 years and organizes summer care services, holiday care, childcare for events, and also manages ski kindergartens and the Kuni Kids Park in Bolzano.

Here are the key details for summer childcare assistance in 2026:

WHO?

The primary beneficiaries are elementary and preschool children, the children of Dr. Schär employees, but middle school-aged children are also welcome. The service is intended for actively working employees. The minimum number of participants is 5 children per day of care.

WHERE and FOR HOW LONG?

Every weekday of the following summer weeks:

Week 25 (17/06/2026 – 19/06/2026)

Week 26 (22/06/2026 - 26/06/2026)

Week 27 (29/06/2026 – 03/07/2026)

Week 34 (17/08/2026 – 21/08/2026)

Week 35 (24/08/2026 – 28/08/2026)

Week 36 (31/08/2026 – 04/09/2026)

Always from 7:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Entry time is from 7:30 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. The exit time is personalized based on the agreed-upon care schedule with each family. For children of production employees, it is possible to bring them between 1:00 p.m. and 1:30 p.m., provided that the parents work the afternoon shift.

The meeting point is always the former administrative headquarters of Dr. Schär, first floor.

ORGANIZATIONAL INFORMATION

It is possible to book individual days during the respective holiday periods, specifying the care schedule for each day. Registration is possible from 02/09/2026 to 03/06/2026 on this homepage. After registration, you will receive an invoice for the childcare costs, which must be paid immediately within 5 days of receiving the invoice. At the time of registration, you will also receive an information sheet with further organizational details.

WHAT?

There are themed days, excursions, creative activities at the site, days at the Lido, and many games. The assistants strive to offer the children a fun summer. We explore the surroundings and engage in outdoor activities. There is also plenty of time for free play: the range of materials is wide, so there is something suitable for every child. We aim to ensure a healthy balance between play, handcrafts, rest, exploration, and outdoor physical activity, with the goal of creating a holiday atmosphere. Lunch (hot or packed) and snacks are also provided. The assistants, who speak German and Italian, are trained for the service and prepared by the organizational staff of Ki.Ba. Project.

EXCURSION INFORMATION

On days scheduled for excursions/pool days, the group of children leaves around 9:00 a.m. and returns only in the early afternoon. Therefore, we cannot guarantee adherence to the booked pickup times. Likewise, it is not possible to adhere to the departure time of production employees for the afternoon shift. The actvity-program will be communicated via a WhatsApp channel. The link to the channel will be shared in a timely manner. Together with you, Ki.Ba. finds a solution for the days that concern you (for example, the child comes to the daycare earlier, is picked up later, or is picked up at the excursion location, etc.). This way, you can book all the days you really need childcare for, without having to consider the excursions. Depending on the expenses incurred for the excursion, Ki.Ba. may charge a maximum of 10.00 Euros per excursion/child.
